Learm About Subaru Safety in West Palm Beach, FL

Subaru Safety

It seems like there are more and more drivers on the road today than there ever has been. With some many more drives there is going to be more accidents. But thanks to major advancements in technology and safety features new cars, trucks and SUV's have their own set of eyes and are constantly scanning for danger. Subaru safety is broken down into three parts Design, Technology, and Safety for all around protection.

Design

All Subaru vehicles are designed from the ground up with safety in mind and that starts with Subaru's Legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System. While there is no snow down here in sunny Palm Beach Gardens Subaru's all-wheel drive system does much more than tackle snowstorms with ease. The all-wheel-drive system is designed to optimize traction and balance and is also efficient and durable. The entire all-wheel drive system is laid along the centerline of the vehicle to balance weight distribution evenly between the two sides for ideal performance and control. By having an all-wheel drive vehicle power is continually supplied to all four wheels providing you with outstanding grip in all weather conditions and terrain.

Technology

Subaru EyeSight is exactly having another set of eyes, and if needed an extra foot, on the road and is one of the top rated front crash prevention system on the road today. Subaru EyeSight is comprised of Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist with Sway Warnings. The Lane Keep Assist monitors your position between the road markets and alerts you to stay in your lane if you are swaying over the line. The Adaptive Cruise Control helps you keep a safe distance from other drivers in front of you and will automatically adjust speed to maintain that distance. And if need Subaru EyeSight will apply full braking power to avoid or minimize a crash.

Safety

Safety and technology go hand in hand now. Sensors scanning for what is behind you, for what is in your blind spot and what has come to a sudden stop in front of you. But some of the other safety features about Subaru vehicles come from being an all-wheel drive vehicle. Like Subaru's control and braking system and advanced airbag system.

Subaru's advanced airbag system includes eight airbags and a rollover sensor. Subaru Boxer engines are placed low and flat under the hood for a lower center of gravity and a smoother ride.

The engine placement allows is better placed for front end collisions. In the event of a front end collision, the engine won't push back into the passenger cabin but it will drive under the chassis to better protect its passengers. Each Subaru is paired with Vehicle Dynamics Control which is a stability control system that automatically senses steering and braking inputs to keep the vehicle on the intended path. To add to the Vehicle Dynamics Control each Subaru also is equipped with Anti-Lock Braking System(ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The ABS will pulse braking power to all four wheels to prevent the wheels from locking up but also to slow the vehicle evenly and quickly. While the EDB optimizes the distribution of power between the front and rear wheels.
